An Arm & a Leg maintains a Therapy Bank of individuals with proven expertise in delivering decongestive lymphatic therapy for lymphoedema and lipoedema patients. We draw a team of therapists for each clinic from this Bank. In late summer each year we hold a Therapists’ Weekend in London. This involves continuing professional education, team building and skills checks and development. It is also usually great fun! Any Bank member who wishes to work in a particular season must attend this weekend.

Most Bank members operate as subcontractors though we also accept secondments.

Entry qualifications
Our therapists have a background in nursing, physiotherapy, massage therapy or occupational therapy plus full Vodder or Foeldi manual lymph drainage training and experience of treating lymphoedema patients in a clinic setting and/or privately.

Evidence of genuine self-employment and of adequate professional indemnity insurance is required before a contract for services can offered. Therapists employed full time can be seconded to work on one of our clinics with the consent of their employer.

contact us for an Application Form. Interviews take place from time to time, usually in London. Applicants are required to demonstrate their skills in MLD and bandaging on the Clinical Director and the Managing Director as part of the interview process.
